Another 134 people have recovered in the past 24 hours raising the total number of recoveries to 93,544.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 134 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 93,544 with another 2,702 people still in treatment including 18 people in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 66 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 60 from the atolls and 97 from the resorts.
There have been 263 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 246 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
