Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced the installation of the precast concrete blocks as part of the second phase of the Kaafu Atoll Himmafushi Harbor Development Project.

Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that they have commenced installation of precast concrete blocks for the quay wall construction of K. Himmafushi Harbor Development Project.

The project entails dredging 14,300 cubic meters of harbor basin, 38 meters of outer sea wall, 248 meters of revetment and 172 meters of inner sea wall along with the installation of port lights.

MTCC was contracted the project for MVR 25.88 million.
