Spokesperson of the President, Ibrahim Hoodh, has said that the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih did not see the report on the MMPRC corruption scandal by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) until it was released yesterday.

Hoodh said that like everyone else, the President saw the report yesterday when it was released.

A tweet sent out by the President's Spokesperson said that the top government officials did not see the report before it was published.

The 776-page reported by the AAC said that the SOF company sent money to a lot of prominent businesses and political figures. The report also named the current Sports Minister, Ahmed Mahloof and the State Minister at the Planning Ministry, Akram Kamaaluddin.

The report said that USD 33,000 were deposited to a bank account of Minister Mahloof by the SOF company while USD 30,000 were deposited to that of State Minister Akram.
