President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has raised the question as to why the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) released the report on the MMPRC Corruption today after hiding it for three years.

The President raised the question while talking at the campaign event of parliament hopeful for Hinnavaru constituency, Jihan Mahumood, running on the MDP ticket.

At the event last night, President Solih said that the administration has just announced it's Zero Tolerance to Corruption campaign and his administration would not stand for any level of corruption.

Following the ACC report yesterday, President Solih relieved the Sports Minister, Ahmed Mahloof and the State Minister at the Planning Ministry, Akram Kamaaluddin from official duties.

The report said that USD 33,000 were deposited to a bank account of Minister Mahloof by the SOF company while USD 30,000 were deposited to that of State Minister Akram.
