Another 119 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 119 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 91,832 with another 1,952 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 22 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 51 from the atolls and 27 from the resorts.

There have been 260 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 243 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
