The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 91,893 after another 143 people have tested positive in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 22 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 117 from the atolls and 4 from the resorts.

In the same time frame, 100 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 89,913 with another 1,716 people still in treatment.
