Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the Haa Dhaalu Atoll Hanimaadhoo Harbor Development Project.
Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the first shipment of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction were delivered to project site yesterday and the repair work of the existing harbor quay wall is currently ongoing.
Hanimaadhoo Harbor Development Project entails 53,522.50 cubic meters of dredging for depth, 31,575.50 cubic meters of harbor entrance expansion, 355 meters of outer sea wall, 50 meters of revetment, 270 meters of inner sea wall and 2,583 square meters of pavement along with the installation of street lamps and port lights.
The project is valued at MVR 57.1 million.
