Maldives National Party (MNP) has launched a youth lounge by the name of 'Nookashi Lounge'.

The lounge was opened by the President of MNP, Colonel (Rtd.) Mohamed Nazim during an event held on Wednesday night. The lounge is located at the M. Gahanaa Lodge in Haveeree Higun.

Speaking during the event, Nazim stated that this lounge is aimed at increasing the productivity of the youth and empowering them. He further stated that the lounge will serve as an entertainment and productive space for the youth.

Nazim also added that the party will always work towards empowering youth to become active contributors to nation-building.

He noted that the party will work on creating jobs for the youth while stressing the fact that giving a job to each and everyone would be close to impossible.

Nazim described the party as a hope for the youth and highlighted that the party was created for the youth. He called on the youth to lead by example.

The lounge opened by MNP includes various amenities such as PS5 and chess.
