The total number of COVID-19 related to the Maldives has risen to 248 after another person has passed away.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that last night at 02:01am a 75-year-old Maldivian female admitted at HMF has passed away
This is the 248th COVID-19 death in the Maldives
The most recent death today raises the tally to 231 locals and 17 foreigners. The highest reported COVID deaths on a single day in the Maldives has been on 25 May 2021 where 13 deaths were reported.
The counter reported its first COVID-related death on 29 April 2020 while the highest number of COVID-19 related deaths on a single day was reported on 25 May 2021 with 13 deaths.
