Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 50 percent of the Noonu Atoll Miladhoo Harbor Development Project has been completed.

Presenting an update of the project on Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the first shipment of the precast concrete blocks required for the quay wall construction has been delivered to the project site.

Miladhoo Harbor Development Project entails 37,222 cubic meters of dredging for depth, 258 meters of outer sea wall, 286 meters of inner sea wall, 137 meters of revetment, 1,430 square meters of pavement along with the installation of street lamps and port lights.

The project worth MVR 42.1 million was contracted to my MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure in August 2019.
