Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has said that housing applications can now be submitted without standing in the queue.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development Aminath Athifa inaugurated a ceremony launching of online portal for application of flat schemes held at STELCO today.

Speaking at the ceremony, State Minister of Housing and Urban Development Ahmed Nasheed said that the online portal will be available for those who would like to apply for housing via the portal.

He said that every Maldivian citizen can apply for housing anywhere, owed to the online portal. Nasheed said that this will bring a lot of ease in the process for the people.

The State Minister of Housing and Urban Development said that applications can be submitted through mobile phones as well. Starting from today, every Maldivian citizen can register using the portal at https://vehi.egov.mv.
