Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC has completed the first phase of the Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru Road Development Project.

Mtcc said that the project entails asphalt work of 2.7 kilometers on 12 roads along with 25,513 square meters of driving road and 6,564 square meters of foot traffic road with drainage systems.

The project also entails the installation of cable junctions, street lamps, speed breaks and traffic signs.

Some roads of Dhuvaafaru were developed earlier this year as phase one of the project. Currently, the phase two of the project is underway. The project is valued at MVR 43.05 million.
