Riyaz set as PG Leader of MNP

MP for Thimarafushi constituency, Abdulla Riyaz has been appointed as the Leader of the Parliament Group (PG) of the Maldives National Party (MNP).

MNP was registered on Monday and with three MPs joining the party, it was announced yesterday that the party is listed at the Parliament as well.

The three MPs are MP Riyaz, the MP for Dhangethi Mohamed Nazim, who was a key member in creating the party and MP for Vilimale' constituency, Ahmed Usham who got elected as an independent member.

MNP issued a press statement yesterday stating that with the MNP registration, the party has been officially listed at.the Parliament as well.

And so, MP Riyaz had been appointed as the Leader of the Parliamentary Group with MP Usham as the Deputy Leader.
