The UK has accepted three COVID-19 vaccines used in the Maldives hence Maldivians are no longer required to quarantine in the UK upon arrival.

Three there COVID vaccines accept by the UK are India's Covishield, Singapore's Astra-Zeneca vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine. No decision has been made regarding China's Sinopharm vaccine.

British Ambassador to the Maldives, Caron Rohsler took to Twitter stating that the last hurdle to easy travel between the UK and the Maldives has been cleared and a vaccine certification would mean no quarantine in the UK.

Maldives was removed from UK's Red Light last month.
