Another 104 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 104 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 83,178 with another 1,549 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 21 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 80 from the atolls and 4 from the resorts. And so the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 84,971.
There has been 231 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 214 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
