Another 123 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 123 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 82,432 with another 1,614 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 32 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 88 from the atolls and 04 from the resorts. And so the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 84,290.

There has been 231 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 214 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
