EAS Barcelona European Aviation School has held an open day event in the Maldives.

The event which was held in Hotel Jen last night was targeted at Maldivians who want to pursue Pilot training at the aviation school.

Speaking at the event, CEO of EAS Barcelona European Aviation School, Mr. Jorge Garcia said that with the opportunities that have been opened for Maldivians, special discounts will also be provided.

As such, students who enroll between September 20th to October 3rd will receive a discount of 2,500 Euros. They stressed that they want to create opportunities for as many students as possible and that a lot of youth are now interested in the field as well.

He also said that students studying at the aviation school are bound to feel like they are studying in their homeland. He further assured that all of their students will receive the full support and encouragement of the school.

Speaking to "One", an official of the school revealed that about 140 students had taken part in the event last night. They noted that this included a lot of students from the Asian Academy of Aeronautics (AAA). They also highlighted that meetings are being held at Hotel Jen tonight as well, for students and parents who are enrolling.

Maldivian students are currently studying at the school as well, and they aim at targeting even more Maldivian students.
