Ooredoo Maldives has signed with FAM as the title sponsor for the SAFF Championship 2021, slated to be held in the Maldives.

The championship is scheduled to be held in the Maldives from the 1st of October till the 16th of October. Signing as the title sponsor of the championship, Ooredoo said that it was an honor to supporting the national team along with all the Maldivians.

While the country prepares for the championship, FAM has already launched a promotional campaign for the championship. The campaign dubbed 'Magey Mahaldheeb' aims to increase the hype surrounding the championship.

Maldives was also the winner of the 2018 SAFF Championship held in Bangladesh, making them the defending champions in this year's championship.

Speaking regarding the championship, FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel said that this was a rather good opportunity for Maldives to come out of a difficult situation and that he hopes to win the finals.

STO serves as the Co-Sponsor of the championship with Dhiraagu filling in as the Digital Partner and ADK Hospital as the Medical Partner along with Allied as the Insurance Partner.
