Malé City Mayor, Dr. Mohamed Muiz has departed to Turkey on an official trip last night.

Malè City Council noted that the trip aims to establish better ties between the mayors of cities of both countries. They also added that Mayor Muiz will try to find assistance regarding city-related issues during the trip as well.

This marks the first international trip by Mayor Muiz in an official capacity since he was elected to the office.

Malé City Council added that Mayor Muiz will return back to the Maldives on September 17th.
