President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent Chinese New Years greetings to the President of China, Xi Jinping.

President Solih conveyed warm greetings of the occasion on behalf of the Maldives and the Maldivian people to the Chinese government and its citizens.

The President's message wished for prosperity, progress and peace for the people of China and the country.
