A woman's head has been busted open during a violent confrontation inside the office of MDP.

Maldives Police Media said that the incident that took place at the MDP office on Sosun Magu was reported today at 12:30 p.m.

Spokesperson of MDP, Imthiyaz Fahumee tole ONE Online that the attack took place among three employees of the office where an employee who delivers letter and other parcels attacked a senior employee. And another employee present was attacked as well.

Imthiyaz said that this is not something the party condones and so the incident has been reported to the Police on behalf of the MDP. He said that the party will be conducting a parallel investigation.

The 50-year-old woman is currently being treated at ADK Hospital and Imthiyaz said that she bled heavily from the head due to the attack.
