Five islands under monitoring after COVID-19 cases were reported have been resumed to normal status.
Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) said said that the monitoring status has been lifted from Kaafu Atoll Kaashidhoo, Dhaalu Atoll Kudahuvadhoo, Has Alifu Atoll Ihavandhoo, Shaviyani Atoll Feevah and Gaafu Dhaalu Gadhdhoo.
Despite the low number of COVID-19 cases in the country recently, over 200 casualties have been reported so far.
Currently, there are 20 islands under monitoring. Among those is Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru which has been under monitoring for over three months.
