President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that he will take every effort to ensure a welcoming environment in Maldives for foreign investors.

The President gave this assurance during a meeting with Sri lankan businessmen on his ongoing official visit. President Solih gave his confidence that Maldives will be a country with a welcoming environment for businesses opportunities.   

The President said that the economic progress of Maldives and Sri lanka are dependant on a similar aspects. He noted that, as such this commonality is based on the field of tourism.

The President highlighted the ties of businesses shared between the two countries and said that the challenges in the field are also similar. As such, President Solih had said that challenges are in the field on environmental issues.
