President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has assigned Ibrahim Hood as the Secretary of Foreign Relations Office at the President's Office.

The press release from the President's Office said that Hoodh will still continue to serve as head of the Communications Office at the President's Office.

Hoodh graduated from the Australian National University with a Master of Arts in International Relations with First-Class honors and now has close to 16-years of experience in senior positions of the government, including the President's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He had also worked in NGOs and the private sectors. and served as the President's Spokesperson before serving as Head of the Communications Office.
