Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 65 percent of the overall project has been completed.

Taking to Twitter today, MTCC said that the first shipment of rock boulders required for breakwater construction was delivered to the site yesterday while 89 percent of the pavement have been completed as well.

Landhoo Harbor Development Project entails 25,000 cubic meters of dredging, 256 meters of inner sea wall, 401 meters of outer sea wall, 60 meters of revetment along with 1,280 square meters of pavement with the installation of harbor and port lights.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 35.60 million.
