Former Gender Minister and the President of Foreign Relations Committee of Adhaalath Party (AP), Shidhatha Shareef has officially left the party.

Shidhatha revealed to One Online that she has submitted a letter to the party informing them of her decision to leave the party. She added that she will be releasing a statement tomorrow, which will detail the reason why sh left the party.

She was the very first Gender Ministry of the current administration, having received the slot from Adhaalath Party. She was also a vital part of the presidential campaign of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

However, last year February, Shidhatha had resigned after facing multiple allegations of misconduct.
