Top budget airline in India, Indigo Air has decided to hold direct flights to the Maldives from Chennai and Hyderabad.

Indigo airlines has said that they will be starting direct flights from Chennai on 21 August 2021 with two flights a week and the flights from Hyderabad will be starting the following day with three flights a week.

The airline is set to increase the number of flights on 15 October.

Indigo started flight operations to the Maldives on 2018 and the flights for suspended amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The airline started with just two flights and now operates a fleet of 194 aircrafts and are traveling to 13 destination including the Maldives.
