The wall of a restaurant in Male' City has fallen on to the road damaging a number of motorcycles parked on the road.

The incident was reported to the Maldives Police Service at 12:34 p.m. today.

A media official of the Police told One Online that a tree in the Salsa Thai restaurant at Galolhu Burunige along with the outer wall of the restaurant had fallen causing various degrees of damages to the motorcycles parked in the area. The official said that no one was injured in the incident.

While severe weather had caused similar incident, Maldives Meteorological Service has issued a White Weather Alert to the islands from Haa Alifu Atoll to Thaa Atoll.

The MET Office said that winds are expected to be between 24 to 27 mph with strong winds up to 45 mph during gusts along with rough seas.
