Ministry of Finance and Treasury has made an announcement looking for a supplier to provide them with 1,400 body-worn cameras (BWC) for the Maldives Police Service.

The announcement made by the Finance Ministry yesterday said that the bid opportunity is open for those who wish to supply and delivery 1,400 BWCs for Police use.

Finance Ministry said that the those that meet the requirements will be decided via international competitive bidding regulations. Those who are interested in the project bid are required to pay a bid participation fee of MVR 1,500 through Bandeyri Pay before 26 August 2021.

MVR 390,000 is required as a bid security for 148 from the date of the opening. The Finance Ministry said that a sign up via email before 1:30 p.m. on 12 August 2021 is required for questions regarding the project.

The project bid opening is set for 31 August 2021.
