A young man from Alifu Dhaalu Atoll Kumburudhoo has gone missing.

Maldives Police Service issued an announcement with a picture of the missing 26-year-old Ahmed Naufal (Fehige, A.Dh. Kumburudhoo).

A person who talked to One Online on behalf of the family said that Naufal was brought not Treetop Hospital for treatment after getting a fall injuries while out Yellow Fin Tuna fishing. And they heard from last on Tuesday. He was last seen online on the same day.

The person who spoke from the family said that they were in contact with Naufal after he consulted at the hospital and assured he'll be returning to the island after completing his COVID-19 vaccination.

Naufal is described to have a soft-spoken nature and does not have police record for any drug offences.
