Minister of Home Affairs, Imran Abdulla has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Home Minister has confirmed this information to One Online moments ago via text saying that he tested positive yesterday and is currently at a hospital.

One Online has learned that he is visiting the hospital to consult a doctor and is staying at home under quarantine.

While Minister Imran has tested positive for COVID-19, his wife, Fathimath Yumna had tested positive as well. Both are doing well.

A number of cabinet ministers had tested positive in the past as well including the Economic Minister, Fayyaz Ismail and the Vice President, Faisal Naseem tested positive for COVID-19 recently.
