Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has started constructing the inner sea wall as part of the Shaviyani Atoll Harbor Development Project.

Taking to Twitter today, MTCC said that they have completed dredging operations of new harbor basin and a currently in the process of installing the pre-cast concrete blocks for the construction of quay wall.

The project valued at MVR 1.6 million entails harbor of 24,125 cubic meters along a 376 meters of outer sea wall, 98 meters of inner sea wall, 1,150 square meters of pavement along and the installation of streetlamps.

Aside from Sh. Bilehfahi, MTCC has a number of development projects underway across the country ranging from harbor development to road development.
