Maldivian Foreign Minister, Abdulla Shahid has departed to Bulgaria last night on an official visit.

During his visit, Minister Shahid is set to meet the Foreign Minister, Svetlan Hristov Stoev and discuss bilateral relations and explore avenues of future cooperation between the countries.

Minister Shahid is also set to meet Bulgaria’s Tourism Minister as part of his visit.

The Foreign Ministry said that Minister Shahid will be discussing on his priorities as the President-elect of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as well.
