The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula, has inaugurated the government's anti-speeding campaign, "Meethi Salhi, with a motorcycle rally.

Different branches of the government along with those from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) took part in the rally.

A large number of the general public are taking part in the rally that started near the Sims Male' Bridge in Malé City and the rally is set to end at the Hulhumale' Central Park.

Minister Nahula has previously told One Online that the anti-speeding campaign was named."Meethi Salhi" (this is cool) to appeal to today's youth regarding the importance of driving in lower speeds.
