Male' City Council has extended the deadline to apply for parking space in Male' City.

The City Council said that the deadline for the applications is set to be extended to 14 August 2021 and application forms will be accepted until 2 p.m. on that Saturday.

City Council said that the decision to extend the deadline was made due to the complaints from the public in regards to the difficulty in acquiring some of the required documents for the application.

A total of 211 parking spaces from ten areas are set to be assigned by the Male' City Council along with 124 parking spaces from the smaller roads connected to Ameenee Magu.

Parking spaces being given by City Council:

  • 44 spaces from Ma. Vaidheriya Hingun
  • 21 spaces on M. Raadhafathi Hingun
  • Ten spaces on Ma. Kuredhi Goalhi
  • Eight spaces on Ma. Hudhufalhu Hingun
  • 20 spaces on South side of M. Hilaalee Magu
  • Ten spaces on M. Hilaalee Magu Stadium Side
  • Ten spaces from Salaahuddeen Parking
  • 24 spaces from Artificial Beach Parking
  • Six spaces from Alimas Carnival Parking
  • 58 spaces near the King Salman Mosque
