50 percent of Fuvahmula inner roads development completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 50 percent work of the construction of internal roads for Fuvahmulah City in the Gnaviyani Atoll has been completed.

The company announced on Twitter that the installation of settlement tanks and electrical junction box are currently ongoing, with 71 percent and 70 percent completion respectively.

MTCC said that the project entails 122,659 square meters of sub-base layering, 95,239 square meters of asphalt, 27,450 square meters of sidewalks and installing drainage systems in a total area of 19,940 meters along with installing road signs and road lights.

The project was contracted to MTCC for MVR 271.3 million.
