The total number of COVID-19 recoveries to 72,118 after another 241 people recover.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 241 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 72,118 with another 2,650 people still in treatment. There are 26 people being treated in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 23 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 58 from the atolls and ten people from the resorts.
There have been 213 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 196 locals, 16 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020.
