Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the second shipment of rock boulders required for the Meemu Atoll Dhiggaru Shore Protection Project was moved to the project site on Saturday.

The project entails land reclamation of 25 hectares along with revetment with rock boulders and develop an outer sea wall.

The project valued at MVR 121. 84 was contracted to MTCC on 10 November 2020 to be completed within 15 months.

MTCC mobilized the project on 21 March 2021.
