Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 80 percent of the overall work of the Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo Road Development Project has been completed.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 46.7 million and the project was mobilized in June 2019.

Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the installation of sidewalks is currently ongoing, with 91 percent project progress.

The project entails 16,518 square meters of walking area, 38,916 square meters of driving road and installing traffic signs at an area of 19,679.7 square meters.
