Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 85 percent of the Kaafu Atoll Dhoonidhoo Harbor Redevelopment and Reclamation Project has been completed.

The project entails a harbor basin of 4.61 acres, land reclamation of 3.75 acres, 370 meters of outer sea wall, 620 meters of revetment and 250 meters of inner sea wall along with a 250 square meters of pavement and the installation of port and harbor lights.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC in September 2020 for MVR 51.4 million.
