The country's total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 69,974 after an additional 351 people have recovered in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 351 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 69,974 with another 3,602 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 13 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 105 from the atolls.

There have been 210 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 194 locals, 16 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020.
