Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that they have commenced installation of the precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall of the harbor at Alifu Alifu Atoll Ukulhas.

The project entails a harbor basin of 19,630 cubic metres, a 31 meters of outer sea wall, 136 meters of inner sea wall, a jetty of. 138.73 meters along with a pavement of a 580 square meter area.

The project valued at MVR 19.9 million was contracted to MTCC on November 2020 to be completed in 120 days.
