Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that new harbor basin dredging operations and breakwater construction for Noonu Atoll Miladhoo Harbor Project are close to completion.

Taking to Twitter today, MTCC said that 91 percent of the harbor basin has been completed with 75 percent of the breakwater construction has been completed.

The project also entails an outer sea wall of 248 meters, a 137 meters of revetment, 286 meters of inner sea wall, 1,430 square meters of pavement development along with installation of port and harbor lights.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 42.1 million.
