The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 64,214 after another 1,034 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 1,034 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 64,214 with another 6,930 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 218 people have tested positive including 86 people in Male' area and 116 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 201 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 186 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
