Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the precast concrete L blocks required for the construction of quay wall of the Lhaviyani Atoll Hinnavaru Harbor have been loaded to the project.

The blocks were sent from Kaafu Atoll Thilafushi.

The project entails 3.2 hectares of land reclamation via dredging and rainbowing, a harbor of 65,170.76 cubic meters, 421 meters of inner sea wall, 123.9 meters of outer sea wall and 170.55 meters of revetment.

Housing Ministry contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 99.52 million.
