The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 63,180 after another 647 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 647 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 63,180 with another 7,747 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 241 people have tested positive including 90 people in Male' area and 143 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 200 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 185 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
