Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 372 new cases of Covid-19 today.

The total number of Covid-19 cases is now 70,673 after another 372 people test positive for the illness today.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 372 people have tested positive including 125 people in Male' area and 21 5from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

In the same time frame, 992 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 61,761 with another 8,703 people still in treatment.

So far, there have been 198 caCOVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 183 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
