The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 58,832 after another 2,273 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 2,273 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 58,832 with another 11,041 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 246 people have tested positive including 88 people in Male' area and 137 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 195 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 180 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
