Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 323 new cases of Covid-19 today.

The total number of Covid-19 cases is now 69,536 after another 323 people test positive for the illness today.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 323 people have tested positive including 163 people in Male' area and 143 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

In the same time frame, 1,663 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 55,055 with another 14,281 people still in treatment.

So far, there have been 191 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 176 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
