A second COVID-19 related death in the Maldives has raised the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country to 191.

One Online has learned that the most recent death was that of a 77-year-old man at the Hulhumale'Facility.

The current COVID-19 death toll in the Maldives consists of 190 locals and 15 foreigners while the highest number of deaths were recorded on 25 May 2021 with 13 deaths.
